ISAAC participates in a hot lunch program with the New London Public Schools. Menus will be sent home on a monthly basis with the school newsletter. Lunch money is collected daily. Forms are available in the school office to apply for free- or reduced-priced meals.

Students will not be allowed to order take out food during school hours and there is no microwave for student use.

Lunch Rules:

Common courtesy and good table manners should be maintained at all times. If you need to leave lunch, you must receive permission from a teacher on duty.

1. Students will not run, push or "cut" when entering the cafeteria.
2. Students will remain seated until a teacher dismisses their table.
3. Students will get into food lines without running, pushing, or "cutting", and will stand in line without pushing or "cutting".
4. Throwing, smashing, and spitting of food is not permitted.
5. Stealing or touching another student's food is not permitted.
6. Students are not permitted to "float" from table to table.
7. All tables will be wiped clea with a paper towel whether they are dirty or not.
8. At the end of lunch, students will wait quietly to be dismissed by the teacher supervising their table. Students may not leave until they are dismissed.
9. Students are to puch their chairs in when leaving.
10. Students will leave quietly without running or pushing.

Disciplinary consequences may be administered for inappropriate behaviors during lunch.
