Camping at Pachaug State Forest 2008
A little cold & wet, but our spirits weren't dampened!

This year's camping trip will take place at Pachaug State Forest in Voluntown, CT in the Chapman Area, the same location as last year (directions). This is a time for building community, and taking our academic endeavors into the natural work of one of Connecticut's finest State forests.

Families participate by providing food, camping gear and firewood, offering their expertice for programs and by chaperoning during the day or overnight. For many students, this will be their first experience camping ... in the wild.

ALL students will attend this as a field trip, as a part of the regular school day. ALL students will need to pack a bag lunch for the day. Those not spending the night will return to school in time to take their regular trnsportation home. Overnight campers should bring their gear to school on Thursday morning.
